Welcome to MWHS Band Boosters! Here is what you need to know first. The rest you can learn as you go.

Your student's first day is July 5th, 2011 at the HS at 9am-12pm as shown on our Calendar.

1. Go to the Band Camp & Forms page if you have not yet turned in all 5 forms. FINAL deadline for forms and fee balance is no later than July 13th.

2. Here is a list of what to bring to band camp ... such as poker chips! (Number and colors to be announced to students by Mr. Thomas)

3. You will need to buy the following items for band before the first football game which is August 20th:

Band Shoes - fitting and ordering takes place during "Full Band" week (July 11th - 15th) Mr. Thomas will announce which day. $39.95 due when ordered.

Band Gloves - Available at the Trade Center. It's a good idea to buy more than one pair if you can.

Scrubs - Black to wear over uniform pants. Will be fitted and ordered during full band week. Pay $15.35 (including tax) when picked up at McFarlands.

Socks - Black above the ankle.

4. Once you have all the above taken care of, be sure to visit the Volunteers page to sign up to help. It can be a lot of fun, and everyone needs to participate. If you want to jump in right away there is a work/cleanup day scheduled for July 8th at 8am at Burke Tony Stadium to get the concession stands ready for the season. Beginning in August, the band plays at all Varsity football games at Burke-Toney stadium located at East High and away games which they travel to as a band by bus. We need lots of help in the concession stands for home games and chaperones for both home and away games.

5. Next, you may want to visit the optional Merchandise page if you haven't already. Final order deadline is July 15th.
